Free to try. New accounts get free credits to make the 5-second sample (the keyboard-player shot) at no cost. The full 15-second video — with your face on the lead singer, and bandmates if you add them — is 50 credits: the $9.99 pack covers exactly one. There's no subscription, and credits never expire.
What's free
Creating an account, browsing the examples and this trend's explainer, and a 5-second sample clip with your starter credits. The full 15-second video uses real AI compute that we pay for per run, so it needs credits regardless of how many photos you add.
What it costs
Credits are sold as one-time packs, not a subscription. A full video is the same 50 credits whether it's just the lead singer or the full 3-person band — the optional bandmate photos don't cost extra.
Your photo and your video
Uploaded photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. Your finished clip stays available to download in My Videos for 90 days, then it's deleted too — download it if you want to keep it longer.
Refunds
If a generation fails — including when a photo is rejected — the credits are returned automatically. Other refund cases follow our refund policy.
Is there a free Outstanding Tiny Desk AI template I can download instead?+−
Not as a downloadable app template. This generates a new AI clip from your photo; some editing apps offer unrelated free templates that cut your own existing footage instead.
Do credits expire?+−
No. See the pricing page and Terms for the current policy.
