How to make an Outstanding Tiny Desk AI video
Updated 2026-10-30
- 01Add your lead-singer photo
One clear, front-facing photo of one adult (you, or someone who agreed), chest-up is enough. This is the only required photo — it plays the close-up lead-singer shot, about 6 seconds in the middle of the clip.
- 02Add bandmates if you like (optional)
Add a photo for the keyboard player and/or the sax player — still the same price. Leave either seat empty and TokClip invents that bandmate; the two backup singers in the opening shot are always AI-generated, no matter what.
- 03Confirm and generate
Tick the box confirming every photo is you or an adult who agreed, then press generate. Try the free 5-second sample first if you're not signed in to credits yet, or go straight for the full 15-second video.
- 04Download and post
Download the MP4 from My Videos and post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts with the AI-generated label on. Add the original "Outstanding" sound from TikTok's own sound library if you want the exact track.
Which photo works best
The model keeps the face, hairstyle and outfit it sees in each photo, so the photo is what matters most. A work shirt or a team hoodie at a soul concert is half the joke — no need to dress up for it.
- Works best: one face, sharp and turned to the camera, good light, chest-up or waist-up, no sunglasses, masks or heavy filters.
- Not allowed: anyone under 18, celebrities, athletes, coaches or other public figures, or anyone who hasn't clearly agreed.
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each — your phone's camera roll works fine as-is.
Can you put your whole group in the band?
Up to 3 people, same price either way. Every seat you leave empty keeps its AI-generated musician, and the two backup singers behind the keyboard player are always AI-invented — no real performer from the original clip ends up next to you. The trade-off: more real photos means a longer wait.
